Acupuncture
Acupuncture is part of an ancient system of medical care called Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM also includes herbology,
dietary therapy, massage and exercise. This system of medicine can treat a wide variety of illnesses and imbalances including
pain, respiratory problems, digestive problems, women's health, injuries, emotional imbalances, and immune, deficiencies.
During a treatment, very fine, disposable needles are painlessly inserted at specific points on the body that stimulate the
natural energy flow. When the body's energy system is harmonized in this way, imbalances can be corrected. The acupuncturist
may also prescribe herbs or suggest changes in diet, exercise, or lifestyle habits. The goal of TCM is to maximize each individual's
health, promoting longevity and well-being.
